Certification

PETE students embark on a plan of study that leads to a K-12 specialist certification in physical education.

The program also features a secondary level (6-12) minor program that leads to certification.

Student Teaching Prep

Learn about requirements, exams, courses, and other checkpoints necessary to make sure you're prepared to student teach.

Student Teaching

Student teaching is the final stage for most students. Majors students teach at both elementary and high schools. This gives you a variety of teaching experience.

After student teaching and meeting all other requirements, you will graduate with a K-12 certification in physical education.
